How to Go Wireless - Outdoor Wireless IP Transceivers

PoE Wireless Transceivers | EnviroCams

The Outdoor Wireless IP Transceivers are made for IP Camera Security Systems. There are three models, the Mid-Range Wireless, the Long-Range Wireless, and the Long-Range High Bandwidth Wireless. All broadcasting in the 5.8Ghz band, and not 2.4Ghz frequencies that so many other devices do, so you should not have any trouble or interference, no matter where you use these transceivers.

The best part about these Wireless Panels is that they are entirely Plug-N-Play. Just aim them at each other, and they will connect automatically. No settings, No IP addressing, No hassle! Simply set the type of operation with dip switches (Camera side or Access Point side), then match the frequencies between 2 or more panels, and fire them up.

Let us take a look at some of the features the Long-Range High Bandwidth Wireless Transceiver has, 900′ to 9800′ wireless transmission range with line of sight (must be used in pairs), and a single panel can easily handle 32Mbps bandwidth.

The features for the Long-Range Wireless Transceiver is, 900′ to 9800′ wireless transmission range with line of sight, and a single panel can easily handle 12Mbps bandwidth.

Here are a few features for the Mid-Range Wireless Transceiver, 100′ to 6500′ wireless transmission range with line of sight, and a single panel can easily handle 10Mbps bandwidth.

These Transceivers use quality Qualcomm Atheros AR9344 600Mhz Chipsets and have 64Mb of DDR2 Memory, as well as 8Mb of Flash Memory for saving settings.

They are also encrypted, using WEP 64/128 bits, WPA, WPA2 or 802.1x.
