Where & How to Install Your IP Security Camera System

The many places and ways to install security cameras.

A lot of factors come in to play when choosing a security camera. How to mount the camera is one of them, that is why we have a full line of mounting brackets and junction boxes for all of our cameras.

For the line of dome cameras, we have the electrically isolated junction box that has a foam insulating/isolating pad on the back and a large hole for passing cables thru. It also has a 3/4″ NPS conduit fitting connection in the bottom. The Wall Mount Junction box allows for severing viewing angles than regular wall mounting the dome camera. If your view needs to be almost straight down, or straight to the side, such as a hallway mounting, then this mount is perfect. The Pole Mount is available with bands for poles up to 4″ or for poles up to 8″ in diameter.

For the bullet series of the mount, there is the junction box it has 2 3/4″ NPS conduit fitting connection in the bottom. The Pole Mount is available with bands for poles up to 4″ or for poles up to 8″ in diameter.

For the Pan Tilt Zoom line of the camera, there is the junction box suitable for indoor or outdoor use, this heavy-duty box can easily hold our heavy PTZ’s and provides an easy way to perform maintenance by merely unlatching the security door and swinging the entire door and camera out. The pole mount is for use on poles up to 4″ diameter. The corner mount is to be used on the corner to allow PTZ Cameras to view 270° around structures. The parapet mount attaches to a parapet wall with anchors, then can be rotated back around for service. The pendant mount extensions come in two lengths 8″ (200mm) & 20″ (500mm).

With all the options we carry for mounting brackets, and junction boxes, placement of those cameras are a breeze. For more information on them, contact one of our Design Engineers toll-free 866-264-0041 or stop by our website at envirocams.com.
