The TagShot IP license plate camera is capable of reading a license plate up to 50-foot distance using its 5-50mm motorized lens. One of the features that can be used is to configure for motion detection and can be set up with a privacy mask if there is something you do not want to monitor. The Tag Shot IP use built in PoE Interface and is also 12V DC compatible. Tag Shot IP can be configured for motion detection and can be set up with privacy mask if there is something you do not want monitored. The Tag Shot IP combines 5 SR-LEDs for wide angle illumination (square LEDs), and 25 five degree LEDs for long range lighting. Recording Up to 30 frames per second at 1920x1080p.

How to Set-up the License Plate Camera

Set-up on the camera is super easy.

  • IP camera connection
  • Connect LAN cable to RJ45 jack of the camera.
  • Connect the other end LAN cable to RJ45 jack of router or hub.
  • If you are not using POE switch to provide the power to the IP camera, connect regulated DC12V power adaptor to the IP camera.
  • Wait for about 50 seconds until the camera initialization is complete.

If need be, you can simply change the IP address by using the ‘IP manager’ provided. Run IP manager as the administrator, click find button when the IP camera is connected to your PC or network, all IP addresses will appear. Choose and change the IP address of the camera you want to change and click the change button. After click the change button left window will appear. Once you click the change button, the camera will reboot for 10 seconds. After rebooting the camera, the changed IP address will be applied and appear..
Checking the video by web viewer, run the web browser, and input the IP address taken from IP manger.
